About us

This site presents the work of Palmiye Wood Decoration for upscale hotel projects. Palmiye is a joinery and furniture workshop in Istanbul, and in these projects our role is to turn detailed interior designs into furniture and fitted woodwork that look exactly as drawn.

Upscale hotels are defined by detail: the way a veneer wraps around a corner, the shadow line between two panels, the weight of a drawer as it closes. We prepare shop drawings for every item, propose construction methods and discuss them with the interior architect before anything is cut. Material samples, from veneers and lacquer colours to leather and metal accents, are submitted for approval.

A mock-up room or suite is usually built before production. It lets the design team, the operator and the owner check proportions, finishes and comfort in real conditions, and it gives us a reference for the entire series. Production then follows in our workshop, where furniture, wall panelling, doors and built-in units can be made under one roof to keep the standard consistent.

Our installation team works on site in coordination with other trades, protecting finished surfaces and completing snag lists with the project team. Renovations can be carried out floor by floor while the hotel remains open. Projects abroad receive packed, labelled deliveries and supervised installation. If you are developing an upscale hotel, send us your drawings and specifications and we will discuss samples and a mock-up with you.
